When considering the use of life insurance policies in the future, consumers may well find that they are less costly than they had initially anticipated, one commentator has pointed out.
Writing in an article published by lovemoney.com, Jane Baker has noted two of the factors that could make such policies less expensive for people.
She stated: "Life insurance is cheaper than you might think, especially if you're reasonably young and in good health."
In her article, Ms Baker also described the potential importance of having life insurance if people are taking out a mortgage on a property with their partner.
The writer warned: "Think of the financial consequences of one of you dying."
Life insurance details were recently issued by the Association of British Insurers, with the organisation highlighting that the health of people taking out such policies will not be taken into account as they get older.
